I didn't set out to become a financial advisor. I set out to make a difference in people's lives.
Over 40 years ago I began what has become a lifelong calling — helping South Florida families navigate some of the most important financial decisions they will ever make. Retirement. Legacy. Protection. The kind of planning that lets you sleep at night knowing the people you love are taken care of.
In 2020 I founded Ermer & Associates, bringing together everything I had learned over four decades to build a practice that reflects my values as much as my area of focus. We are not a transactional firm. We are a relationship firm. Every client who walks through our door is treated like family.
I hold the RICP® designation — Retirement Income Certified Professional — which means I have specialized training in helping people turn what they have saved into strategies to help support income needs over time. I have been recognized as a New York Life Executive Council member for eight consecutive years (2021-2025) an annual company recognition program based on agent production from July 1- June 30. My associate Martha Michelle Nave, FSCP®, brings additional depth and care to every client relationship we serve.
But credentials only tell part of the story.
I am an ordained permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of Miami, assigned to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miami Beach. I also serve as a chaplain for the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, providing spiritual care to the men and women who protect our community every day.
I believe that stewardship is not just a financial concept. It is a way of life. I believe that protecting your family is one of the most profound acts of love you can offer them.
I have called South Florida home for my entire life. When you work with Ermer & Associates you are working with someone who knows this community, has served it for over 40 years, and is committed to being here for the long haul.
If you are looking for a financial advisor who will take the time to truly understand your situation, your goals, and your values — I would welcome the conversation. No pressure. No obligation. Just an honest discussion about where you are and where you want to go.
Tell me a bit about yourself, and I will call you to discuss a personalized strategy.
